Katt Williams ‘Mexico Rant’ Resurfaces Amid Trump Immigration Protest

With a new President in office and Mexican protestors taking to the streets, half of the country's patriotism is at an all time high and an old clip of Katt Williams roasting a heckler would resurface, amid the new political climate. On social media site, X, a clip from 2011 features a Mexican heckler at a Katt Williams show in Phoenix, who appeared to have referenced Arizona as Mexican territory. After hearing that from the heckler, Katt Williams had something to say about it.

"No, this ain't Mexico. It used to be Mexico, motherfucker and now it's Phoenix, goddamnit! USA! USA! USA! USA!...I bet you don't leave here and go to Mexico, motherfucker...Motherfuckers think they can live in this country and then still [have] allegiance to another fucking country. If you love another country more than you love America, motherfucker, then get to steppin' there, bitch. So, if you love Mexico, bitch, get the fuck over there! You don't know what my family did for this country, bitch. You ain't did shit. We were slaves, bitch. You just work like one as a landscaper"

Clearly, the crowd enjoyed Katt's rant. It should be noted that historically, Arizona has voted Republican when it comes to presidential elections. In fact, for the most part, the state has voted Republican from 1952 thru 2016, with the most recent exceptions being Bill Clinton in 1996 and Joe Biden in 2020.

From there, Katt would begin to sing the national anthem, where the crowd soon followed. The social media user who re-shared the old clip would write a caption that read:

"Never in a million years did I think Katt Williams would be starting 'USA! USA! USA!' chants at his comedy show. A heckler told Katt that Phoenix, Arizona was Mexican land and Katt cooked him for almost 4 minutes. Beautiful"

One user on social media would react to the clip by writing: "Don't get in a 1v1 with Katt. Bro won't let up. Surprised he stopped at 4 min. He feeds off the crowds energy and they were lit"

Now, as stated before, this isn't the first time we've seen this clip of Katt. The viral video from 2011 would actually get the comedian in trouble, as he would apologize via a written statement from his publicist. Shortly after, Katt would appear on CNN to officially clear the air about what exactly he was apologizing for.

Now, the timing of this viral clip re-surfacing is noteworthy, particularly due to the ongoing protests in downtown Los Angeles and across the country, as many college students are speaking out against Donald Trump's immigration policies. This comes after Trump took office, signing an executive order, attempting to end birthright citizenship, stating that the United States would no longer recognize the citizenship of a child in the country if their parents were not citizens or permanent residents in America. This is currently protected under the 14th Amendment.

In addition to that, Trump and his administration have presented other executive orders in relation to the border and immigration, including enhanced vetting at the border, securing the border and the deportation of non-U.S. citizens.

So, what do you guys think about this newly resurfaced clip of Katt Williams defending America by roasting a Mexican heckler?
